Big Idea of the Message: Elijah flees Jezebel after he had killed all the prophets of Baal. God’s provision for Elijah comes in the form of nourishment for the body and soul. Elijah has to be reminded that everything is for the glory of God.
Application Point: We are apt to forget God’s authority over every aspect of our life. As a result, when we lose our way and wander down the path of fear, God can be trusted to show up and point us in the right direction—even if the pointing is painful for us.
