"“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, NIV)

God’s love is not just a feeling—it is an action. The cross is the ultimate display of His love, where Jesus willingly took our place, bearing the weight of our sin so that we could have eternal life. His sacrifice was costly, yet God gave freely because of His deep love for us.

During Lent, we reflect on this great love and what it means for our lives. The cross calls us to respond—to receive His love and to share it with others. Jesus’ sacrifice was not just for our salvation but also as an example of how we are to love—selflessly, sacri- ficially, and completely.

Challenge: How are you responding to God’s love? Are you receiving it fully and sharing it with those around you?

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your incredible love displayed on the cross. Help me to truly grasp the depth of Your sacrifice and to live in response to it. Teach me to love as
You have loved me. Amen."
