"“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (Psalm 119:105, NIV)
Life often feels like walking through darkness, full of uncertainty and difficult choices. But God has given us His Word as a guiding light, showing us the way to walk in obedience. Just as a lamp illuminates each step in the dark, Scripture provides wis- dom, direction, and encouragement for our daily lives.
Obedience to God begins with knowing His Word. When we immerse ourselves in Scripture, we learn His will and find the strength to follow it. The more we rely on His Word, the clearer our path becomes. Lent is a perfect time to recommit to spending time in the Bible, allowing it to shape our hearts and guide our actions.
Challenge: Are you allowing God’s Word to guide your decisions and actions?
How can you be more intentional about studying and applying Scripture in your life?
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your Word, which lights my path and leads me in truth. Help me to seek You daily through Scripture and obey what You reveal to me. Let Your Word shape my heart and guide my steps. Amen."
