"“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18, NIV)

Paul reminds us that, although we face struggles and hardships in this life, these trials cannot compare to the glorious future that awaits us in Christ. Our present suffer- ing is temporary, but the joy and glory that God has prepared for us are eternal.
Lent is a time to reflect on the tension between our present struggles and the hope of what’s to come. It’s easy to become overwhelmed by life’s difficulties, but we can find strength and perspective when we remember that our pain is not the end of the story. The glory that will be revealed in us through Christ far outweighs anything we endure today.

This truth invites us to press on with hope and endurance, trusting that our present suffering is not in vain.

Challenge: In your current struggles, how can you focus on the hope of future glo- ry? Let this perspective transform your outlook as you walk through Lent.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the hope of future glory. Help me to endure my present struggles with faith, knowing that they pale in comparison to the eternal joy
You have prepared for me. Amen."
